Tealswap emerges as a pivotal platform within the Oasys ecosystem, functioning as a decentralized exchange (DEX) that leverages an automated market maker (AMM) system directly on the Oasys hub-layer. More than just trading, Tealswap aims to broaden the spectrum of user engagement on Oasys. By offering a suite of services, Tealswap ensures that users have a fluid, intuitive experience, providing all necessary functionalities within the Oasys network in one centralized location. Whether you’re looking to trade, stake, or explore other DeFi opportunities, Tealswap stands as the gateway to all your needs on Oasys, delivering a unified and accessible user journey.

Oasys Hub Layer — bridging solutions

When it comes to interacting within the Oasys ecosystem, particularly for bridging assets to Tealswap, you have access to two primary bridging solutions:

  1. Celer Bridge (Hub-Layer — External chain)
This bridge facilitates the transfer of assets between the Oasys Hub Layer and external blockchain networks. It employs smart contracts to ensure secure and efficient transfers of ERC-20 tokens, allowing users to move their assets from Ethereum or Polygon to Oasys and vice versa.
  2. Tealswap Internal Bridge (Hub-Layer — Verse)
Specifically designed for internal movement within the Oasys ecosystem, this bridge connects the Oasys Hub Layer with the Verse Layer (Layer 2). It enables the seamless transfer of Fungible Tokens (FTs) between the main network and various Verse ecosystems like TCG Verse, MCH Verse, and others, expanding the operational scope within Oasys.

Celer Bridge (Hub-Layer — External chain)

Step 1: Choose Your Bridging Route

To begin, you need to decide which blockchain networks you will be transferring tokens between. It’s essential that one of the networks involved in the transaction is the Oasys Hub Layer. Select the origin (From) and destination (To) chains accordingly to ensure a seamless transfer of your tokens.

Step 2: Choose the Token for Bridging

Before proceeding with the transfer, you must select the specific token you wish to bridge. This platform supports the transfer of ERC-20 tokens.

  • Token Selection and Approval: If the token you’re bridging from the source network isn’t the native token (e.g., bridging from Oasys and the token isn’t OAS), you might need to approve the transaction first, which allows the bridge to interact with your token.
  • Amount and Fee Review: Once you’ve chosen your token, input the amount you want to bridge. At this stage, you’ll see the transaction fee, which can fluctuate based on the network you’re bridging to. Keep in mind that there could be a minimum transfer amount set by the Celer bridge.
  • Finalizing the Bridge: After reviewing all details regarding the token, amount, and fees, if everything is in order, click on the ‘Approve USDT’ button to initiate the transfer.

Step 3: Monitor Your Bridge Transaction

Once you’ve initiated your bridge transaction from the source chain, you can track its progress directly on the Celer Bridge platform. Use History tab for this purpose

Tealswap Internal Bridge (Hub-Layer — Verse)

Step 1: Selecting the Bridge Route

From/To Chain Selection: When you’re looking to bridge tokens using Tealswap, you must first choose the chains or layers you are transferring from and to. The Oasys Hub Layer must be involved in this process, serving as either the source or the destination. This ensures that your tokens are moving in or out of the Oasys ecosystem seamlessly.

Step 2: Choosing the Asset Type for Transfer

When using the bridge functionality within the Oasys ecosystem via Tealswap, you have the option to transfer:

  • ERC-20 Tokens: These are fungible tokens, meaning they are interchangeable and hold the same value as each other.
  • ERC-721 Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs): Unique digital assets that cannot be exchanged on a one-to-one basis like ERC-20 tokens.

Step 3: Bridging Tokens/ NFTs to Another Layer

If you’re bridging ERC-20 tokens:

  • Select the token type you wish to bridge.
  • Input the amount you want to transfer.
  • Click on the ‘Approve USDT’ button to initiate the transfer.
  • Keep in mind that if you’re sending a token other than OAS (the native token of Oasys), you might need to go through an approval step before the transaction can proceed.

For NFTs:

  • Select the NFT type; currently, only OASYX NFTs are supported for bridging between the Oasys Hub Layer and the Verse Layer.
  • Enter the details or quantity (if applicable) of the NFTs you’re transferring.
  • Click on the ‘Approve NFT’ button to start the bridging process.

Step 4: Verify Your Bridged Asset

Once you’ve initiated the bridge process and your transaction has been confirmed, you’ll be presented with a confirmation screen. Keep in mind:

  • Transaction Confirmation Delay: There might be a delay before your assets appear on the destination layer. This is due to the time required for blockchain validation and block finalization across different networks.
  • Checking the Transaction: For transparency and to track your transaction’s status on the From chain, you can click the ‘Go to Explorer’ button on the confirmation screen. This will redirect you to the blockchain explorer, where you can view detailed transaction information, including status, block number, and confirmation time.
